We’re two Millennials who grew up in the golden age of CDs, mixtapes, and FM radio - when music wasn’t just played, it was an experience. We still remember peeling off the shrink wrap, cracking open a fresh CD case, and flipping through the booklet while the first track played. Those moments stuck with us.

Then everything went digital. Playlists replaced albums. Collections became invisible files. And that slow, intentional way of listening started to fade.

When we went back to our old CDs to reconnect, the players we found felt… lifeless. They worked, but felt generic. It felt like no one cared about the experience anymore, and we knew we weren’t the only ones who felt that way.

That’s how the Moonlight CD Player started - born from frustration, turned into a mission: to design a player that’s carefully crafted in both design and sound, without sacrificing the convenience of modern tech.
